Boro make the trip to the home of pork pies and Stilton cheese on Tuesday 9th July for their third pre-season game against Melton Town.

A new club to visit for most, Melton Town will play in the United Counties League Premier Division North (Step 5) this season having finished 4th in the same division last season having narrowly lost to Loughborough Students in the play off semi finals.

Directions from Nuneaton town centre: Take the A47 towards Hinckley, then the A5 south to the M69, take the M69 northbound towards Leicester and merge onto the M1 northbound at its end. Take the exit at J21A to the A46 and after 8 miles take the slip road onto the A607 signposted Melton Mowbray. When you reach Melton Mowbray itself turn right at the roundabout onto Edendale Road. At the next roundabouts turn left onto Valley Road and then Dalby Road. After a few yards turn right onto Hamilton Drive, then straight on onto Victoria Street. Turn right at the end onto Burton Road, and after the new housing development on the left the turning into Melton Sports Village will be on the left, follow the driveway down to the football ground.
