Gardner adds to the attacking options

Matthew Gardner has joined Nuneaton Town to bolster the teams attacking options. The seasoned striker has featured for Lye Town in the NPL Midlands division playing 14 times and picking up 3 goals for The Flyers who are currently in the relegation zone.

Matthew has featured for a number of clubs at Steps 4, 5 and 6, and in a memorable spell at Lichfield City he scored 16 goals in 16 games. He was also in a rich vein of form during his time at Coventry United scoring 15 goals in 36 appearances. Some of his former clubs also include Coton Green, Stourport Swifts and Hinckley AFC. Back in 2010, he won the Midland Football Alliance Golden Boot for Coalville Town.
