Danico Deal Decided

Nuneaton Town FC are pleased to announce the signing of 29-year-old striker Danico Johnson.

Johnson is an experienced striker who has recently played for Rugby Town, and also scored for Trooper FC in the FA Sunday Cup final in April. He had been regular for Rugby Town at The Valley, and prior to this had spells at Redditch United, Alvechurch, Romulus, Hednesford, Bromsgrove Sporting, Sporting Khalsa and Racing Club Warwick before re-joining Rugby in November 2019. In his first game for Rugby Town, the experienced striker scored a hat-trick against Peterborough Northern Star in August of 2018. During his multiple spells with Rugby, Danico scored 38 goals in 66 appearances for the club.

Danico had made 30 appearances for Rugby Town in the 2021/22 season campaign scoring 11 goals across all competitions before joining Nuneaton Borough FC on deadline day, where he was unable to find a regular place in the starting XI.
