Town Tribune with ‘Daly’ News

Nuneaton Town FC are excited to announce that they have completed the acquisition of central defender Liam Daly, who most recently played for Stratford Town FC.

Liam will also play a part in Darren Acton and Russell Dodd’s backroom staff, joining Justin Marsden as a player/coach.

Daly lists the likes of Solihull Moors (where he played a vital role in them winning the 2015/16 National League North title), Kidderminster Harriers, Leamington, Barnet, Nuneaton Borough, and Kettering Town on an impressive footballing CV.

Darren Acton commented on his most recent signing saying,

Russ and I are happy to get this one over the line, considering Liam Daly‘s experience at the top level of football. Liam will also be coming in as Player Coach, which we are very happy about. He will bring stability and will be a mentor to the younger players around him, bringing his wealth of experience to the sidelines as well as on the pitch.

Welcome to the club Liam!
