Richie Norman for President

Nuneaton Town FC are honoured to announce that Richie Norman has accepted the position of Club Life President. 

Having joined Nuneaton Borough in 1995, Richie became a stalwart of the club completing close to 30 years of loyal service as club physio.

Richie was born in Newcastle and became an accomplished left back.

In 1958 he joined Leicester City and went on to make 365 appearances for them, including two FA Cup Final and two League Cup Final appearances. 

Between August 1960 and February 1964 Richie wrote his name into Leicester City's record books by playing 194 consecutive games. 

After leaving The Foxes in 1968 he played for Peterborough United before joining Burton Albion, firstly as a player before taking over as player-manager.

After hanging up his boots Richie settled into a number of coaching roles before beginning his career as a physio.
