Boro Juniors Partnership

Following its registration as a Community Interest Company last week, Nuneaton Town FC has already begun to lay firm foundations for the football club and its community. We are excited to announce that Nuneaton Town FC has agreed a partnership with Nuneaton Borough Junior Football Club (NBJFC).

NBJFC currently provides football to over 300 children and 24 teams, including the Boro Ballers, girls' and ladies' sections. The partnership will enable both parties to work towards the goal of providing local footballers with a pathway to senior football.

Ian Cook, Chairman of the newly formed Nuneaton Town FC, believes both partners will benefit, stating that "This is another key part of our rebirth and to bring our football clubs back together. I can't wait to get going and see where this journey takes us all. Also as Community Interest Company we recognise our responsibility to promote the participation in football for all ages and abilities. Our partnership with NBJFC is an important step in this direction. We can't wait to get going and bring on 2024/2025 !"

NBJFC Treasurer Mick Beale is thrilled about the agreement too. “This partnership is just what the town needs," he said. "After we sat down and heard what NTFC were putting together, and how much they were keen to work with us, it didn’t take long for the committee to agree that this is the best outcome for both parties.”

Optimistic about the future, Mick continued by saying, “This is such an exciting time for the section and the new club. I can’t wait to work closely with them to provide the town with a successful football club for the community to be proud of.”

The partnership between NTFC and NBJFC will see them aligning their home and away kits, supplied by Sporting Touch, for the next two seasons. NBJFC will also support NTFC with player sponsorship and by providing ball boys and girls at home matches.

NTFC will supply all NBJFC and ladies players, as well as two coaches for each team, with a season ticket to all home league games. Meanwhile, NBJFC will cover the costs to supply all season tickets that NTFC generates this season.

Thank you to NBJFC for their commitment to Nuneaton Town FC. We look forward to working with them for the benefit of our town’s young footballers.
