Nuneaton Town's fourth league game of the season and third straight away game sees us travel to Sutton United. Not to be confused with the one from south London, this one is based in Sutton Coldfield and play in green.

Sutton picked up their first win of the season at Allexton and New Parks on Saturday, with a 3-0 scoreline, meaning they go into the game 15th in the table. Nuneaton of course are looking for a fourth straight win to start the season having beaten Wednesfield 4-0 on Saturday.

Sutton United was formed after World War Two in 1947, by three RAF veterans who had met in the war, initially competing in the Birmingham and District League, before joining the Midland Combination in 2012. Sutton dropped out of the Midland League, as it became, in 2017, but were promoted back to the Midland League Division 3 in 2019, before reaching Division 1 in time for last season. They finished 12th with 48 points.

It is the first ever meeting between these two sides.
