It's deja vu for Boro, as Nuneaton Town's eagerly anticipated 3rd incarnation begins at a side that they visited in preseason in their 2nd incarnation in 2008. Liam Daly and Justin Marsden will be in charge of the squad as Darren Acton and Russell Dodd have a prior commitment to attend which was arranged before they were appointed.

Ryan Beswick, the player/manager of Quorn, will be familiar to Boro fans having played for the club the season before last, along with midfielder Cain Noble and defender Jordan Gough. Boro fans will also be familiar with Quorn’s secretary Adam Etheridge who did the job for Boro until 2019 serving under 4 different chairman during a tumultuous period.

Quorn finished 5th in last seasons Northern Premier League Division One Midlands (Step 4) and will be looking to try again for promotion having missed out in the play off semi finals at Anstey Nomads last season.
