Nuneaton Town face Coventry Copsewood at the Oval on Tuesday night in the Midland Floodlit Cup. Prices have been reduced for this cup tie with all proceeds after match costs going towards our Back to Nuneaton campaign. As this is a cup tie, season tickets are not valid and it is all pay.

After Town comfortably beat Copsewood 5-0 away in the league back in September, Copsewood's form has improved and they are currently on a 7 game unbeaten run in the league. They have also progressed to the next round in the Coventry Telegraph cup and narrowly lost on penalties to Stapenhill in the FA Vase during this period. Therefore, they'll be keen to continue their run and search for silverware.

Nuneaton Town come into the fixture in a rich vein of form. In the last twelve games they are unbeaten, have picked up 8 wins and 4 draws, scoring 38 goals and only conceding 7. Speaking after Nuneaton Town's 7-1 win away at Lutterworth Athletic on Saturday, joint manager Darren Acton said: "'Yeah got a cup game coming up, probably take a look at a few of the younger players, get them involved as well. Obviously we want to try to win the game, but it's also about getting minutes for players that haven't played, I'm sure they'll come in and do a job, and hopefully we can get a result."

The history of Coventry Copsewood FC:

Copsewood were formed in 1922 as Peel Connor, and after joining with Magnito Ltd in 1926 changed to Magnet FC. They became GEC (Cov) FC in 1934, GPT (Coventry) in the 70s, Marconi (Coventry) FC in 1999, and finally Coventry Copsewood in 2006.
