Nuneaton Town’s first trip west of this pre-season campaign takes them to Church Road to play 'The Mikes'. We will return here later in the season to play Smethwick Rangers who groundshare with Boldmere. The Boldmere Community Stadium has been modernised in the last few years, adding an education centre and a 3G pitch.

Boldmere finished last season in 13th place in the Northern Premier League Division 1 Midlands (Step 4), the same league as other pre-season opponents Quorn and Bedworth, and like them will remain there next season, so this will be another strong test ahead of the Midland League Division 1 season.

Take the A444 south to the M6, and then turn right onto the M6 towards Birmingham. Follow to J5 then turn right on the roundabout onto the A452. Follow the A452 over the next 4 roundabouts, and at the 2nd crossroads after Chester Road train station, turn right into Church Road, ground will be visible on the left

Public transport is available for this fixture via train to Birmingham New Street, then a 2nd train to Chester Road which is about a half mile walk from the ground.
