Nuneaton Town will be looking to continue their run of very good form against bottom of the table AFC Bridgnorth on Saturday.
AFC Bridgnorth's form has improved of late with a 2-1 win against Brocton on Tuesday night in the Midland Football League Cup, and two draws and two narrow defeats in the league.
Town go into the game after winning their last four games, including Monday nights MFL Cup 3-1 victory against Chelmsley Town. They will be looking to continue their impressive recent league record of scoring 15 goals in the last three league games without conceding a goal. The squad has been bolstered with recruits Dom Perkins and Callum Carsley joining, and Liam Daly returning following suspension.
This is the first meeting between AFC Bridgnorth and Nuneaton Town. AFC Bridgnorth were formed in 2013 following the folding of Bridgnorth Town due to financial problems. Fans of Nuneaton Borough who now follow Town will remember facing Bridgnorth Town frequently during the late 80's and mid 90's when they competed in the Southern League Midland Division. They last met on 20th April 1996 where Nuneaton Borough were 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Ian Drewitt.

Getting to AFC Bridgnorth via public transport will require a number of changes. The best route looks to be getting a train to Birmingham New Street before getting a train to Wolverhampton Train station, and then heading to Wolverhampton Bus station where you'll need to get the number 9 bus from Platform B. Get off when you reach Sainsbury's in Bridgnorth, and make the short walk up Innage Lane to the ground.
