Dec joins the ranks

We are pleased to welcome midfielder Declan Somel to Nuneaton Town FC.

Declan previously played for Tamworth FC in their academy and making some appearances for the first team in step 3 before moving to play for Walsall Wood where he played over 20 times when they won the 2022/23 Midland League Premier Division title.

During last season, Dec joined Hinckley AFC and was part of the side who won the Midlands Football League Division One last season by 9 points.

Dec will be no stranger in the changing room after playing with Corey Currithers and being coached by Russell Dodd during his time at Walsall Wood, and played alongside Chandler Pegg for Hinckley AFC.
